Saturday, September 7th marked one year since Mac Miller tragically passed from a drug overdose, but his music continues to move and inspire fans.
The rapper was found dead inside his home on September 7, 2018, after consuming a fatal combination of fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol.
On the 5th of September, it was reported the man who supplied Mac counterfeit drugs - Cameron James Pettit - was arrested in relation to his death. The 23-year-old accused drug dealer was taken into custody on Wednesday morning, charged with supplying Mac Miller - real name Malcolm James McCormick - with oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl.
If convicted, Mr. Pettit faces up to 20 years in federal prison.

For those who don't know, Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid which has 50 times more the potency than, heroin and 100 times more than morphine.
With the man who allegedly supplied the artist with the deadly concoction awaiting trial, fans posted their emotional tributes to Mac Miller in order to celebrate his life and remember his legacy.
Rapper Kendrick Lamar also shared a special tribute to Mac Miller in an emotional video: "Great musician, great writer.
"Always had a smile on his face and that's something that I commend."
"No matter what he was going though, he didn't make you feel sorry for him.
"He was strong about it, always kept a smile on his face because he wanted you to smile too. And that's something that I always loved."
