Anna Todd's controversial fanfic-turned-movie begins filming in just over a week, can you believe? It's been about 5,000 years since we heard news about the novel being adapted into a film, and we're still just as against it.
BUT - it does have its fanbase, and they're beyond keen to learn about who will be playing the lead character of Tessa... wait for it... Katherine Langford's sister, Josephine Langford.
"I’m so excited to be joining After as Tessa and to be able to bring her character to life," Josephine told Deadline. "After-nators have been waiting so patiently to see this story and I’m thrilled to be a part of telling it."
If you're unaware of the story, it is based off Harry Styles and the rest of One Direction. The reason why it has gained so much backlash is the fact that it glamourises domestic violence and abuse.
Any Harry Styles fan will also know the true nature of him, which is gentle and kind - the polar opposite of his After counterpart "Hardin Scott".
So who is playing Hardin? Well, Ralph Fiennes' (yes Voldemort) nephew, Hero Fiennes-Tiffin has already been cast to play the role.
Swen Temmel has also just been cast as the bad-boy Jace.
"I’m really excited to announce that I’ll be playing the role of Jace in After," Swen wrote on Instagram. "Can’t wait to get started. Gonna be something huge guys!"
After begins filming next week in Atlanta, Georgia.
