We don't know about you, but going BTS at a Victoria's Secret show is more exciting to us than the actual show (but we'd happily take tickets to that too). The hair, the makeup, the selfies! We want to see it all! But now thanks to Beachwaver we have an exclusive look at just how the supermodels get those enviable curls!
Sarah Potempa, celeb hairstylist and inventor of the Beachwaver, sent us a bunch of pics (oh haiiii Bella!) from the 2016 show AND gave us the inside scoop on how to get the sexy “lived-in” Victoria's Secret wave using the Beachwaver.

Step 1.
Start by bringing all of the hair forward, then divide it into clean, even sections. Select the temperature setting that is right for your hair (thicker needs higher, and thinner needs lower).
Step 2.
Multi-directional curls are the secret to the movement in the curls. The Beachwaver Pro rotates in both directions which means half the work is done for you! Start curling and remember that curls must always be going away from your face.
Step 3. (if you have a Beachwaver)
Clamp the section of your hair at the bottom, leaving the ends out. Press “go” to start rotating and curl from the bottom of your hair, working your way up to the top. This will ensure a consistent wave throughout. Release the “go” button to stop. Hold for 2-3 seconds then open the clamp to release the curl.
Step 4.
The final brush out is so important! After you’ve curled all of your hair let the curls cool then spray a flexible hair spray onto a brush. Brush all the curls out then run your fingers through them. We know it's scary, but trust us/Sarah.
Extra Tips
- If you add more hair into a section you’ll get a bigger wave, while less hair means a tighter curl.
- A great tip for long lasting curls is twisting the hair away from the face into 3-4 buns at night time.
