Home Alone is officially getting rebooted!
Watch the video below for all the details:
The classic holiday flick which was released in 1990 starred Macaulay Culkin will be coming to Disney's upcoming streaming service Disney+.
It all comes thanks to the studio giant's acquisition of 21st Century Fox with Disney CEO Bob Iger also revealing to The Hollywood Reporter that they also have big plans for Night at the Museum, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Cheaper by the Dozen.
“We’re also focused on leveraging Fox’s vast library of great titles to further enrich the content mix on our [direct to consumer] platforms,” said Iger in an official statement.
No word yet if the original Home Alone cast will be involved and whether the reboot will be in film or TV show format.
Culkin responded in the best way possible and asked Disney to call him.
Fans of the classic flick are although seriously divided over the news.
Disney+ launches in the U.S. on November 12!
Australia is yet to receive a launch date but reports are claiming the service will arrive sometime in 2021.
