Sound the alarms, beauty blogger James Charles has had a major hair transformation! He’s dyed his hair peroxide blonde!
Unsurprisingly to the vlogger, he documented the entire process on his highly popular YouTube account. During the process, he experienced something I can guess 99% of us have been through… burning your scalp with bleach doing a home dye job.

Going from naturally dark brown hair to blonde is a LONG process, one that is encouraged to be done by a professional hairdresser. It’s also one that takes more than one sitting, so the fact that James was schlepping bleach onto is head in one day says a lot about the way his head was burning.

We can’t say it’s not a rite of passage for like, everyone though.
“OMG it’s literally hot to touch!” James squeals when he is sitting waiting for the bleach to settle into his head.
Thankfully, his hair turned out to be quite a big success, with fans loving his new transformation.
“Your blonde, ahhh. Can’t believe it you look so perfect . Soz shouldn’t tweet this but I had to. Sad though your intro and profile pic will have to change,” the fan said.

James accidentally revealed his new look on his Instagram story before he was able to upload the full video onto his YouTube channel.
“Omfg I’m so fucking stupid lmao I tried to post that on my close friends and wasn’t paying attention 
” he tweeted.
He did promise that despite the surprise being ruined, fans would still be “shook” at the video. “Omg I’m excited for tomorrow’s new video y’all are about to be shook lol,” he wrote.
“I just looked in the mirror and screamed,” he continued.
Well, that’s one major beauty bucket list accomplishment he can tick off his list!
