FOREHEAD

Cause: Stress and lack of sleep, or dirty hair.

Solution: Firstly, get eight or more hours of snooze time on the regular. Sleep can lower your stress levels and is also super important for restoring your body – including skin. If you have a fringe, try to wash it every couple of days so product and grease doesn’t sit on your forehead.

ABOVE EYEBROWS

Cause: Low immunity. You might find spots here after a cold or flu.

Solution: If you haven’t been drinking enough water, now is the time to change that. It’s also a good idea to lay off the junk food a bit. A healthy diet will bump up your immune system.

BETWEEN BROWS

Cause: Poor diet, food allergies.

Solution: Crazy-rich foods, spicy stuff, and things high in sugar and fat can contribute to your skin freaking out, so if you are getting loads of spots in this area, try for a super healthy diet.

CHEEKS

Cause: Respiratory system issues, like being around smoking or pollution

Solution: Well, if you smoke you should quit, regardless, coz that’s causing loads of problems for you besides your skin! If you live somewhere that’s kinda polluted, like the middle of the city, try double cleansing to really get rid of grime. Just wipe skin down with makeup wipes first, then wash with your cleanser.

SIDES OF CHIN

Cause: Hormones.

Solution: Unfortunately there isn’t much you can do if your pimples are hormonal. They’ll just pop up around period time or when you’re ovulating. Some versions of the contraceptive pill can assist with hormonal acne, but it’s best to speak to your doc to see if it’s right for you.
