‘Outer Banks’ star Madison Bailey just dropped her entire skin care routine

And pretty much everything is under $20 👌

You know those people who have annoyingly perfect skin no matter what they throw on it? We have a sneaking suspicion that describes Madison Bailey. The 21-year-old actress is rapidly gaining fans for her performance on Netflix’s moody teen mystery show Outer Banks, which is where we first noticed her laid-back beauty. While she’s previously shared her predictions for what’ll happen in Outer Banks’ second season the real secrets we’re uncovering today are her top product picks that feature in her short n sweet nighttime skincare routine.

“I don’t have super sensitive skin,” Bailey explains in her Go to Bed with Me video. “I can kind of throw whatever on my face, and my skin’s like, ‘Meh.'” We can only dream, tbh.

She starts her routine by chucking up her beautiful hair into a big pineapple bun and taking off her makeup with Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes. We have mixed feelings about wipes—they’re pretty wasteful and kinda bad for the environment—and her fans in the comments of the video are a lil concerned too. “Trigger warning: Makeup wipes are the first thing,” wrote one commenter. If you’re looking for some skin and planet-friendly options, head over to this zero waste beauty guide at Syrup. But anyway, moving swiftly along!

Next, Bailey uses a face scrub with a very cute Tarte Sugar Rush Star Factor Cleansing Face Brush. The super-serious skincare addicts among us would caution against using a scrub like this, as the little bits of peach stone could be a bit harsh on your face. She has totally sold us on that little face cleansing brush though, it’s so dang cute. And so is Bailey: “Seriously, what do YouTubers do?” she says as she mimes washing her face.

After that, she follows it up with dabbing a couple of areas with a leave-on mask for acne and an anti-stress serum (no longer available 😢) all over her face.

“After a long day, I love to use my rose quartz roller,” explains Bailey as she starts gently rolling and massaging her face. She keeps it real though, “this is not an everyday thing, because it’s time-consuming… but it’s nice and it makes me be nice to myself.” She finished it off with a couple of spritzes of lavender face mist for extra relaxation vibes and the classic EOS lip balm.

While it’s certainly not a perfect routine by some people’s standards, Bailey is upfront about the fact her skin is pretty agreeable. Luckily, her fans are still behind her despite the questionable routine. “Whewwww I was trying so hard not to judge to harshly cause everybody face is different, but this skincare routine was scary,” wrote another commenter. “The scrub, the wipes whew. We need an intervention for my girl🤣.”

We’ve dropped some of her favourites below, including dupes for products that aren’t currently available in Australia if ya wanna give anything a go. Keep in mind she has extreme naturally clear skin privilege.
