Ring the bell, we’ve had another celeb hair change. This one is brought to you by Joe Jonas’ enthusiastic embracing of a bottle of hair bleach. Yes, the new dad is now a blonde with a buzzcut and a very close match to his with wife, Sophie Turner.
Jonas debuted the new look with a post to his Instagram story. The singer’s dark hair is now a bright—almost white in some places—blonde and has been shorn very short.
The buzzed fade has that soft texture that you inexplicably want to rub your hand against, ending just above Jonas’ ear before transitioning into his au natural brunette stubble. No word on whether a professional hand was involved in this very clean looking bleach and haircut job.
Jonas is the latest in the seemingly never-ending line of celebs who’ve taken to hair experimentation during the pandemic. We had Emily Ratajkowski, Emma Chamberlain, Ariel Winter, and Kaia Gerber also pushing the ‘blondes have more fun’ agenda. Recently, Gerber’s gone pink, though a softer shade than Dua Lipa‘s strawberry inspired dye-job. On the other end of the spectrum, Jojo Siwa switched up her blonde ponytail to go brunette.
The hair change is a fun move from Jonas, who recently welcomed a baby daughter called Willa into the world. We reckon he’s going to have to duke it out with Taika Waititi for ultimate cool dad status though. The Kiwi director let his kids go HAM and shave all his hair off during quarantine, a celeb hair change that is yet to be beaten in our eyes.
