He captured the hearts of the nation back in 2011 when he won Australia’s Got Talent as a baby-faced 14-year-old, and Jack Vidgen has been making headlines once again over the past few weeks – but this time it’s got nothing to do with his musical talents.

In a promo clip for his appearance on this season’s The Voice, the now 22-year-old sent fans into a tailspin with his shocking transformation, with many insisting that he had undergone cosmetic surgery to achieve his drastically altered appearance.
And now, Jack has finally addressed the rumours.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, the Aussie star denied ever having plastic surgery, but admitted to plumping his pout with lip fillers.
“I’ve never had plastic surgery or any surgery, it’s pretty obvious I have had my lips done with fillers,’ he stated.
“The funny thing I see articles and people talking about it and for me it’s not a big deal.
“I think with these types of things it’s so common now, especially for people my age, it’s not a big deal. I see it like when you do your makeup or tattoo, it’s all the same.”
The star also opened up about his attempt to crack the US market. Following his success in Australia, Jack moved to America at 16, however returned Down Under just two years later.
“The pressure that I put on myself got a bit too much and I wasn’t enjoying it anymore and I wasn’t enjoying singing which was a big red flag. What was the point of doing this if I don’t enjoy it,” he said.
“I studied and worked in different jobs like a receptionist, after school care, worked in aged care, retail and a deli, just wanting to sink my teeth into something normal because I had not lived a normal teenage life until this point.”
