Always wanted hair like Taylor Swift? Yeah us too. One of our fave looks on the boss singer is wavy hair, it just screams old school Tay and it’s perf for the weekend. Now thanks to VS Sassoon, you can get it in next to no time!
Step 1: Shampoo and condition hair with a volumising shampoo and conditioner
Step 2: Apply a volumising spray to the roots and blow dry in, using the 2100W VS Sassoon Diamond Brilliance dryer with high ionic conditioning technology that eliminates static and allows you to style faster with less heat damage whilst trapping moisture to reduce frizzies by up to 75%*. Dry using a round brush to achieve maximum volume on the roots.
Step 3: Once the hair is dry, apply a heat spray to protect the hair.
Step 4: Part the hair on the right above the peak of the eyebrow to the top of the head then from that point down to the ear on each side. You should have 4 sections. Clip each section away to make it easier.
Step 5: Starting at the front with the side with the most hair (the left side), take a horizontal section of hair about 2cm thick and wrap around the VS Sassoon’s Diamond Waves styler winding towards the face. This tool uses breakthrough Diamond Radiance Technology to achieve extraordinary results. It’s 50% smoother & 20% harder than standard ceramic finished curlers**, providing diamond-like luxuriously smooth perfection and longer lasting waves. Once heated, release the section and then, starting below the part that’s been curled, wind the hair in the opposite direction and repeat until you run out of hair. This will give you an ‘S’ shape in the hair. Keep working your way up the head.
Step 6: Repeat this step for the other sections.
Step 7: Once you have finished this technique for the entire head allow it to cool for long- lasting waves. Apply a smoothing serum and brush the hair using your fingers or a wide toothcomb to get a tousled look.
Step 8: Finish with a spritz of medium hold spray for hold and to keep movement in the hair.
Now you’re just like Tay!
