The colour green has been getting a bad rap ever since Kermit The Frog famously sang, “it’s not easy being green.” With all due respect to the muppet, we beg to differ. Case in point: green eyeshadow. We’re calling emerald eyes one of the biggest make-up (and prettiest) trends of the moments.
Earlier this month supermodel Kaia Gerber hit the runway for Valentino wearing glittering emerald green eyes by make-up extraordinaire Pat McGrath.
Shortly thereafter, green-hued eyeshadow started popping up all over our feed. Spotted on the likes of Ashley Graham to fashion girls Elizabeth Grace and Paloma Elsesser.
To bring out the best in blue eyes we recommend sticking to gold-based eyeshadows. While hazel and brown eyes can afford to experiment with cool-tones such as lime green.
