What do we want? A fresh mani! When do we want it? Now!
The cry can be heard across the country, but as salons jack up their prices, having your talons looking fresh at all times is getting more and more expensive. But what if we told you, there was a way to get the nails of your dreams, from the comfort of your couch and they wouldn’t chip or smudge instantly?
You’d tell us we’re delulu. But we promise no cap, this Aussie-made nail system is set to revolutionise the game. So, what is it? Let’s see…
What is GLAMRDiP?
Well you’ve probably already realised, but GLAMRDiP is an at-home manicure solution. Creating flawless nails at-home is what they’re known for. But they’ve even got more amazing qualities to back them up.
First up, they’re an Aussie company, harnessing the power of Aussie botanical ingredients (slay) to keep your nails nourished. Which leads us on to point two of why they’re absolute tens. They’re committed to enriching your nails with vitamins and minerals, and keeping out all the nasties. We’re talking a vegan, cruelty-free and 18-free (excludes 18 potentially harmful chemicals) promise.
Much like your salon SNS visit, the system uses the ‘dip’ method to colour and cover your nails. And with heaps of colours to choose from, you’re going to want to get the Salon Perfect Complete Kit ($159 at GLAMRDiP) load up your cart and get to work mastering the mani.
GLAMRDiP Nail Colours
With 141 colours, we’re confident you’ll be able to pick up a few classic shades that we know you’ll love. With everything from neutrals, to neon and even glow in the dark your inner artist is going to love getting creative and picking up the latest trending shades (chrome all day, everyday). The entire range of shades is priced at $15 which for a bottle of polish is pretty affordable we think!
Are GLAMRDiP nails easy to remove?
We get it, sometimes you just need to be able change up your look and having *clacking* nails just isn’t it. But, before you rule out giving yourself the joy of a long-lasting mani we need you to know the removal process is as easy as the application one. Yep, and if you’ve ever had your nails removed in-salon you know the process. File down (gently), apply their Remove Solution ($15 at GLAMRDiP) or acetone, wrap in foil and wait. Easy! And because GLAMRDiP are so pro nail health, they recommend following the removal process with a nourishing oil. Their Heal ($15 at GLAMRDiP) oil contains, jojoba, sweet almond, tea tree and lavender oils to name a few. Nourish your natural nails is key.
Is GLAMRDiP the same as SNS?
When looking at how to apply the mani (dip, coat and repeat) you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s basically an at-home SNS kit. And while there definitely are similarities (read: application process), the GLAMRDiP system uses ‘glazes’ to set the system. So, basically all the harmful chemicals have been left out.
