The Braided Bun
A cool variation of the up-do is the braided bun. Both are glam and timeless and this do is surprisingly easy to do: Pull all your hair back into a sleek ponytail and secure it toward the middle of the back of your head. Then, leave a small section out at the front for braiding. Wrap the hair from the ponytail around the elastic, making a bun and securing it with criss-crossed bobby pins. Braid the small section of hair that was left out and wrap that around the bun and pin down with a few bobby pins, as well. Be careful to conceal all the pins! Spray the whole thing with some hairspray and TA-DA!
Romantic Updo
If soft and girlie is your thang, this is it. First, curl your hair so it has some volume, then brush back your locks. Pin it at the tape of your neck and let your hair fall down. With this hairstyle, the long tresses can also be flipped over the shoulder, as well. Secure it with some bobbies.
