Doja Cat spends a healthy portion of her time entertaining us with quality pop music and relatable goofy content on TikTok.
But it turns out she also has a skincare routine that we can really get around…
Doja’s makeup artist Ernesto Casillas exclusively used The Ordinary skin care to prep the 26-year-old’s skin for the Grammys and nothing was over $15.
“Prepping the skin is essential for a glowing complexion,” he said in his Instagram breakdown of Doja Cat’s look.
Casillas opted for a slew of his go-to products from the brand “to create a well hydrated and healthy complexion as a base for my makeup.”
“I first cleansed Doja’s skin using [The Ordinary] Squalane Cleanser ($13.90 at Priceline),” he went on to say. “I then flooded the skin with a combination of [The Ordinary] Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% ($10.60 at Adore Beauty) and [The Ordinary] Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 ($12.90 at Adore Beauty).”
Casillas likes to use a microcurrent facial device to massage the products into the skin too. It helps to aid absorption, promote circulation, reduce puffiness, and boost radiance. But don’t stress if you can’t get your hands on an exxy facial massager – this step is completely optional.
To finish up Doja’s makeup prep, Casillas “applied a generous layer of [The Ordinary] Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA ($9.80 at Adore Beauty)” to her skin.
The red carpet result? Absolute glow goals.
