Colourpop is launching a ‘Hocus Pocus’ collection just in time for the spooky season

“I put a spell on you and now you’re mine.” - me to this palette, hopefully.

Good news everyone! It’s only two more days till the spookiest month of the year. When the ghosts, goblins and ghouls come out to play and the TikTok witches who hexed the moon party like it’s the 1699! And what better way to create your perfect spooky glamour look than with ColourPop’s latest Halloween collection, inspired by Disney’s classic Halloween film Hocus Pocus.

That’s right folks, the makeup brand you know and love that’s given you palettes, lipsticks and lashes inspired by Sailor Moon and Disney’s Mulan is giving you the perfect ingredients for your witchy cauldrons. On Wednesday, the 30th September, ColourPop Cosmetics will release their Hocus Pocus makeup line, inspired by the film’s starring sisters, Winifred, Sarah and Mary, and autumn tones.

The ColourPop x Hocus Pocus collection includes three red-coloured lipsticks, three sets of false lashes, two jars of glitter gel—a purple and gold—three gel eyeliners and the pièce de résistance: a 15-pan eyeshadow palette with shades named after classic moments from the movie and autumn colours.

Based on the swatches on the ColourPop Cosmetics Instagram, it looks like it really does give you a variety of fun colours, in mattes and shimmer finishes. They include a sparkly, gold shade called Brew Potion, a shimmery purple called Thackery Binx, an earthy dark green matte called Bewitched, and a ghost white matte called Full Moon. You can check out the full swatches below.

But, you’ll have to be quick and set your alarm clocks early to get the new spooky goods. According to ColourPop, the limited edition Colourpop x Hocus Pocus collection launches on the site at 10AM PST on the 30th September, which for us Aussies is 3AM AEST on the 1st of October.

Well, if you miss that very unfriendly launch time and need something to create a witchy look ASAP, there’s always Trixie Cosmetics! Earlier this year, Colourpop released a Sailor Moon themed collection—which sold out twice in mere minutes—and another based on Disney’s Mulan.
