Iconic beauty brand Avon has announced they will no longer be doing business in Australia by the end of 2018.

The company which has operated on Aussie shores since 1963 released an official statement online confirming the sad news.

Since it’s 55 years down under, Avon has accumulated a total staff of 220 with more than 21,400 people selling their products.

Loyal workers and consumers have since been left furious over the closure, with many taking to social media:

My heart goes out to Avon reps who just learnt that Avon will be ceasing operation in Australia and NZ by the end of the year.
