Ariana posted the above photo of a recording studio on her Instagram story, raising suspicion in fans that she was working on new music. It was then later confirmed (in a way) by a cryptic tweet, "Music is the best medicine."
Ariana has been through a lot recently, so we aren't surprised that she would channel all that energy into what makes her happy: music.
After the Manchester attack, Ari admitted to dealing with PTSD. Not long after the attack, she and her boyfriend at the time Mac Miller split up, after two years of dating.
After taking a much needed break from the spotlight, Ari came back and brought along her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
A second later and the pair were engaged. Ariana was happy, until Mac Miller shockingly died of a drug overdose.
It wasn't long after that Ariana was expressing on Twitter how hard things were becoming for her. She sent out a long slew of concerning tweets which all basically said, "everything ISN'T going to be okay".
For all the life changes and challenges Ariana has faced in the matter of a year, it isn't surprising that she needs to express herself. All we can say is bring on the new music!
