Here are 10 old school flicks that we recommend you binge-watch this school holidays...
1. CLUELESS
Starring: The gorg Alicia Silverstone, the late Brittany Murphy and Marvel star Paul Rudd.
The lowdown: The flick follows the life of high school It girl Cher as she befriends the dorky but adorbs new girl Tai, deals with boy dramz and, of course, her pesky step brother.
Look out for: Cher’s electronic ‘drobe! Its used to collate every piece she owns and select a cute outfit every morning.

2. MRS DOUBTFIRE
Starring: The late Robin Williams and Mara Wilson (the IRL Matilda).
The lowdown: A divorced dad loses custody of his three kids so he dresses up as a hilar nanny to spend time with them in disguise. Prepare to LOL!
Look out for: Middle child Chris grew up to be a total babe! Matthew Lawrence has appeared in shows like Girl Meets World and Melissa & Joey. Go ahead and google him, you won’t be disappointed!

3. I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER
Starring: Sarah Michelle Gellar AKA the IRL Buffy the Vampire Slayer as well as Ryan Phillippe, the gorg Ava Phillippe's dad.
The lowdown: A group of teens are terrorised by a murderous stranger who they accidentally hit with their car during the school holidays.
Look out for: Okay so it’s totally creepy and suspenseful but srsly, the boys are babes and the girls rock some epic ‘90s lewks!
4. THE CRAFT
Starring: Neve Campbell, the main chick from the Scream Franchise and Skeet Ulrich AKA Jughead’s Dad in Riverdale.
The lowdown: A squad of misfits develop magical powers and use them to become popular, get back at the haters and make cute boys fall in lurve with them.
Look out for: Some scenes were used as inspo for Little Mix’s “Black Magic” music video, like when Perrie changes her hair colour and when the girls levitate after a spell casting slumber party.
5. ROMEO + JULIET
Starring: Three words: Young. Leo. DiCaprio. melts into a puddle.
The lowdown: The film adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play follows the series of unfortunate events that affect two star-crossed lovers.
Look out for: The best darn kissing scenes you’ll ever see, with particular reference to the make-out sesh when Leo is wearing a suit of armour and Claire Danes (Juliet) is rocking wings.
6. NOW AND THEN
Starring: Introducing '90s ~queens~ Christina Ricci and Thora Birch.
The lowdown: Four grown-up besties relive an epic summer holz that they spent together when they were younger.
Look out for: The scene where the girls make a pact to be BFFs forever and set the bar high for friendship goals.
7. 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU
Starring: Heath Ledger (RIP). What. A. Babe!
The lowdown: A new student is enlisted to find the schools ‘tough chick’ a date for prom, which sparks a mismatched romance.
Look out for: The scene where Heath’s character sings to Julia Stiles’ character on the school steps in an attempt to win her over. Prepare to be jeal as heck!

8. HOME ALONE
Starring: ‘90s bae McCauley Culkin.
The lowdown: A young dude Kevin is accidentally leftover behind while his fam jet sets off on their Christmas vacay, leaving him to fend off two bumbling burgers.
Look out for: How Kevin does all the wild things you’d do if you were left at home by yourself. And by wild, we mean listen to loud music and eat loads of pizza in your underwear.

9. HOCUS POCUS
Starring: Hilar witch Mary is played by Kathy Najimy who also stars as the evil queen in Disney's Descendants.
The lowdown: High school student Max inadvertently brings three evil witches back to life and needs to find a way to banish them for good, all the while impressing his crush.
Look out for: The three hysterical witch’s musical number “I Put A Spell On You” is a friggen jam! Oh, and did we mention there’s a talking cat?

10. JURASSIC PARK
Starring: Jeff Goldblum who will reprise his role as Dr. Ian in the upcoming instalment of the franchise, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
The lowdown: The first flick that kicked off the dino franchise is about an exciting new theme park featuring cloned dinosaurs becomes a little more intense when the dinos break free.
Look out for: References to the recent Chris Pratt flick Jurassic World including the reopened theme park and the Jurassic Park t-shirt.
