If it gets the go-ahead, the rebooted version will follow Zoey's life as an adult in Southern California now with her own kids.
Apparently, the updated version will be "Zoey with an edge."
Since the report, Spears took to Instagram to address the rumour.
She captioned the post “Yo, @nickelodeon have your people call my people🤝😉 #Zoey101”
We wonder if Austin Butler, who played James in the drama/comedy series will make an appearance as he will likely be too busy playing Elvis!
Jamie, 28, who is now mother to daughters Maddie Briann Aldridge, Ivey Joan Watson has also recently signed on for new Netflix series 'Sweet Magnolias.'
The American singer/actress captioned the post "Mama’s going back to work y’all 🎬🎥," she wrote on her Instagram. "Can’t wait for y’all to meet “Noreen”!! I fell in love with this story, and so excited I get to be a part of telling it ❤️❤️ #SweetMagnolias."
