If you have yet to go see Spider-Man: Homecoming, we highly recommend.
Anyway, it's also a great film, and it features the ONE AND ONLY Zendaya.
Before the film came out, speculation over Zendaya's role filled interview questions and online theories, but now it's finally been revealed and it's probably the best twist we've ever seen.
*WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD*
We learned that Zendaya would be playing "Michelle," basically an unknown character if you're familiar with the comics. While Tom Holland's (Peter Parker aka Spider-Man) love-interest in the movie is a girl called Liz, she eventually leaves town.
It's at the end that Michelle - Zendaya's character - tells everyone that her friends call her "MJ"!
MJ, AS IN, MARY JANE!!!
Again, if you're unfamiliar with the comics, Mary Jane is Spider-Man's love interest. It was who Kirsten Dunst played in Tobey Maguire's version.
Typically, Mary Jane is a red head, so not only are we loving the diversity of the role which Zendaya will now portray, but it made the twist that much more epic.
All we can say is, future Spider-Man movies better feature that famous upside down kiss between Tom and Zendaya!
