The 25-year-old model announced the happy news while chatting to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, revealing they've been celebrating with their loved ones all week while bunkering down at her family's farm.
"Obviously we wish we could have announced it on our own terms, but we're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support," the former Victoria's Secret Angel told the television host.
"Especially during this time, it's a nice silver lining to be able to be home and together and really experience it day by day," she added.
Gigi's interview came less than 24 hours after her mother Yolanda Hadid opened up about becoming a grandmother.
"I'm excited to become a Oma in September especially after I lost my mom so recently. But this is the beauty of life: One soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed," she told Dutch media outlet, RTL Boulevard.
