For his new film, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, Zac is portraying the serial killer Ted Bundy.
After months of anticipation for the film, we finally have a close-up shot of him in character, and it's creepy how similar he looks to the IRL Ted.
For comparison, here is a real photo of Ted:
According to Zac's caption on the pic, he will be heading to Sundance with the film in January for the premiere. The movie will be told from the perspective of Ted's girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer (Lily Collins), who refused to accept the truth about Ted being a serial killer, despite finding parts of a "murder kit" in his car.
Zac has assured fans that are worried his portrayal will glorify Ted Bundy's legacy that it definitely won't. He explained, "It simply tells a story and sort of how the world was able to be charmed over by this guy who was notoriously evil and the vexing position that so many people were put in, the world was put in. It was fun to go and experiment in that realm of reality."
Creepy!
