The writer continues: "A boy is not what we expected and I would be lying if I said the thought of a mini-me was purely exciting and not without challenges. Let's just say, I'm hoping you'll do as I say, not as I do." Yeah, we're going to have to agree with you there, champ.
"So, what to call you?" Joe eventually asks, before revealing they have decided on the name "Henry".
"Who are you going to be, Henry?" Joe says as Love cuts into the cake; it's filled with jam, presumably to symbolise blood. As she places the cake towards the camera, the date of the new season appears baked into the dessert: 10/15/21.
Yep, You season three is premiering on Netflix on 15th October, 2021.
As a reminder, season one of the thriller saw writer Joe fall in love with Guinevere Beck (played by Elizabeth Lail). Joe grew unhealthily obsessed with Beck and ended up murdering her.
Though, that didn't stop people from thirsting over Joe and Tweeting that they wish he would become obsessed with ✨them ✨.
Cut to the next season and Joe has a new obsession, Love.
But it turns out she was just as crazy as him as she ended up killing his neighbour Delilah once she discovered Joe's secret. Wow, and they say soulmates aren't real 🥰. The season ends with Love pregnant with Joe's baby.
And that brings us to season three which sees Joe and Love attempt to raise Henry in Northern California. Complications arise as Joe struggles to deal with Love's impulsiveness and obsessiveness (bit rich, mate) and the fact that the writer has a growing interest in his neighbour.
Sigh, we don't like where this is going.
Stay tuned for more details about the new season as they drop!
