The country music turned pop singer has built her career on shading celebs including ex-baes and fellow musicians and fans have come to expect that with each song she releases, tea will be spilled.
But while this tactic might be serving Tay well in terms of sales, new reports reveal that her sassy tunes might hurt her chances of winning another Grammy!
Page Six reports that her disrespect to fellow artists has srsly ticked people off, including the industry bosses who decide which singers are deserving of a Grammys nomination.
An industry insider revealed: “A lot of people on the voting committee are not liking Reputation at all. Taylor wants to win as many awards as possible but has rubbed so many people up the wrong way in the last couple of years. A lot of the jury members have worked with Katy, Calvin and Kanye so when Taylor has tried to humiliate them, it has left a bad taste. Ultimately she may pay for that when it comes to winning awards.”
She also dug herself a hole back in June when she put her back catalogue on Spotify on the same day of Katy's Witness release as a means of beating out her rival for the top spot.
The source adds: “Taylor has to understand that the industry is small, and moves like sabotaging Katy’s album hurt people behind the scenes who work hard to make an album happen. How Taylor thinks the industry is going to give its full support to her after she’s tried to damage so many people is mad.”
The snubbing of Taylor's Reputation album has already began as the singer failed to score a nomination at last week's EMA's even though "Look What You Made Me Do" was released around the same time as other nominees.
Over the past decade, Taylor has won ten Grammys, a feat that she is V. proud of and even referenced in the "LWYMMD" video.
Could her winning streak finally be up?
All will be revealed when the nominations for the 2018 ceremony drop next Tuesday. Fingers crossed!
