When the news of Ben's retirement was announced, Nick Jonas was VERY quick to volunteer as tribute, and boy are we supportive of this.
"First name Nick. Last name Jonas," Nick wrote on an Instagram post from HYPEBEAST.
"#hypeflix: @benaffleck will be hanging up his role as Batman. The upcoming Matt Reeves-directed ‘The Batman’ focuses on a younger Bruce Wayne, and will reportedly be casting a new member for the role. It’s slated for a June 25, 2021 release. Who do you think should play The Dark Knight?" read the post.
Unfortunately, a lot of people weren't into the idea of Nick taking on the role.
"@nickjonas nah bro," one fan simply wrote.
So who is being considered? Names such as Keanu Reeves, Joseph Gordon-Levitt or even the return of iconic Christian Bale came up. Others included Jon Hamm and Jake Gyllenhaal.
So much yes.
However, reports have suggested that Warner Bros. is looking for a younger actor to take on the role, so why not someone like Nick? Let's not forget that he has taken on some amazing roles recently like Scream Queens, and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
We guess we'll just have to wait and see!
