Since the Kardashian-Jenner empire came to power many years ago, the sisters have had their own individual projects including DASH, the Kardashian Kollection, Kim's video game and many, many more.
Then when the youngest sibling Kylie Jenner came into her own, she ventured into the world of beauty with Kylie Cosmetics and totally changed the makeup landscape.
And now that the reality star's beauty brand is reportedly set to be worth a billion dollars by 2022 (*cue jaw drop*), Kylizzle has spoken out about her motive behind starting the brand and it turns out it had nothing to do with money!
The 20-year-old spilled the tea in the new issue of Love magazine where she graces the cover and is interviewed by Momager, Kris Jenner.
Yesterday, an excerpt from her interview was posted on Love mag's official Insta where Kylie claims that money is not her motivation behind working hard on her beauty brand.
“‘It’s estimated that in the next few years you could have the biggest beauty brand in the world,’ says Kris to Kylie, a moment that might put a lump in the throat of any mother.
‘How do you think that phenomenon happened?’ Kylie pauses again. She’s careful with what she lets on to mom.
‘I think truly, I put a lot of hard work into this,’ she replies. ‘It’s not like I’m doing this to make money. I don’t even think about that part. This is just something authentic to me.’”
This high-key makes sense!
After all, the girl was worth a whole lotta dough before she started the brand and seemingly only did so to keep herself busy.
All the extra $$$ is just a bonus!
