Netflix's new superhero series Umbrella Academy is gearing up for season 2, and they've just announced three new characters will be added to the show to shake things up for the crime-fighting siblings.
According to the show's official Twitter account, Ritu Arya, Yusuf Gatewood and Marin Ireland will all be joining the Umbrella Academy as an additional set of slightly crazy yet hilarious characters.
Taking to social media, the good folks at the Umbrella Academy wrote: "ATTENTION CHILDREN! We heard a rumour that some new friends are joining us this season. Let us welcome them."
So who will be joining Ellen Page, Robert Sheehan, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman and Aidan Gallagher next season?

Ritu Arya will be playing Lila: "A chameleon who can be as brilliant or as clinically insane as the situation requires. Unpredictable, mischievous and sarcastic, Lila’s gifted with a twisted sense of humor [sic]."
Yusuf Gatewood has been cast as Raymond: "A born leader with the smarts, gravitas, and the confidence to never have to prove it to anyone. He is warm, dedicated and has the innate ability to disarm you with a look. A devoted husband, he's the kind of guy everyone wants to know."
And Marin Ireland will play Sissy: "A fearless, no-nonsense Texas mom who married young for all the wrong reasons. Still in her prime, she’s eager to rediscover what life and love has to offer."
Back in April, Screen Rant reported that the show was officially renewed, with production starting in May and will last through 'till September.
We aren't sure whether this means the season will be shorter, or the production will just be fast-tracked since showrunner Steve Blackman previously revealed that the show takes 18 months to produce one season.
In any case, sign us up for season 2 because after last season's hectic cliff hanger, we need ANSWERS!
