An insider told Us Weekly that while the NBA star was “absolutely devastated” that he hurt his girlfriend, he was also “relieved that it had come out."
“Khloé has completely forgiven Tristan for cheating on her, and it really wasn’t hard for her to do because he literally broke down crying in her hospital room after she had given birth to True,” the insider tells Us.
“Tristan was absolutely devastated that he had hurt and betrayed Khloé. Adding to the grief, was of course the timing of when it all came out, the days before she gave birth.”
It was recently revealed that the pair are in couples' therapy in an effort to solve their relationship dramz.
“Tristan had no interest in going, but Khloe insisted on it,” a source told Heat.
“Her sister Kim advised her that it was a good idea, because their relationship was already going to be a challenge with a new baby around, let alone a cheating scandal hanging over their heads.”
“The sessions have been difficult,” the source adds. “Their fights are monumental at the moment.”
However, when they get home “they barely talk — except when it comes to the baby — but there have been some very frank discussions during the session.”
So will therapy be enough to save them? Apparently not...
“The relationship seems unlikely to survive,” the source concludes. “Friends think there’s no way Khloe wants to raise her daughter in such a toxic environment.”
