In a video he posted on Instagram, Tom showed fans an iPad which looks like it had the movie's title on the screen, as Deadline reports.
"Sorry for no announcements, but I love you guys," he wrote on the video, where he is talking at Seattle’s Ace Comic-Con.
"I wanted to apologise because there's no real revelations coming out this weekend about Spider-Man 2," he said. "I don't know much about it. I'm a little confused because I died so I don't really know how it all comes into play, but what I do know is that I got the new script, I'm super excited to read it, and it's going to be great."
Then he lifts up the iPad to show a screen reading, 'Spider-Man: Far From Home.'
Fans quickly picked up on the spoiler and started coming up with theories that the stuff up was actually done on purpose.
Others just started memeing the sh*t out of it.
The sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming will be released on July 5, 2019, as The Verge reports.
