In case you forgot...
Alex Standall was in a critical condition after he turned a gun on himself.
We were told it was self-inflicted, but this fan theory suggests it may have a been a little more sinister. The culprit? Tyler

The theory post reads:
"I feel like a f***ing idiot because someone just explained to me that Alex doesn’t shoot himself, Tyler shoots him! That’s why Tyler had a gun and that’s why he takes Alex’s picture down from the series of pictures he had hung up. He’s killing them in order."
We see in the second last episode that Tyler buys a gun.
It's in the final episode that we see he's actually been buying a lotttt of guns, and he's seen storing them in his camera box on his way to school...
We then see that Tyler is in his photography developing room, where he has individual pics of each person on the tapes... Courtney, Marcus, Bryce, Alex, Sheri etc.
Coincidence? Or maybe a list? Each of these people have somehow wronged Tyler, or bullied him. It makes it even scarier that he stops on a photo of Alex, where he has a flashback of Alex stepping in when Tyler was being attacked by Montgomery. Although he helped him, Alex also said he never wanted to talk to Tyler again... Tyler then snatches down the photo.
You may be thinking, why is Clay in those photos?! It seems unfair, just like how Clay was on the tapes. But Clay hasn't treated Tyler well either. He was the one who spread the naked photo of him after all.
So this fan theory suggests that Tyler has had enough, and is going to go after each and every one of them, which is DARK.
We won't know anything for sure unless it's confirmed, or ya know, a season two comes out (fingers crossed), but it's also possible that Alex really did do it to himself.
Alex was physically spiralling in each episode, and he does have a police officer for a father who would definitely have possession of a gun.
So now we have Tyler in posession of guns, Alex who could possibly take his fathers, Jessica - whose father has a bunch of guns in a safe that she has access to, and Justin - who we see at the end of the season has a gun also.
What we'd love to know is, how the hell is it so easy for all these teenagers to get access to something as lethal as a gun?
