In order to see the boys without their first night jitters, she arranges two big dates to get to know them better.
Paddy is certain he’ll get a single date, but it goes to Charlie. Luckily Bill, the recipient of the wild rose, doesn’t steal the date away from him as he doesn’t see him ‘as a threat’.
Ali and Charlie head to the city, she describes him as her dream man. “I’ll be falling in love with him before we get to the wine and cheese,” Ali sighs.
“I can see myself falling in love with Ali, she wants kids, marriage the lot,” Charlie enthuses.
Back at the mansion Paddy is stirring trouble again and is putting his bad eye on Charlie and Ali’s date. “I hope it rains,” he seethes. The boys lament on how competitive he is but their attention soon turns to the first group date of the season, where Ali and 10 Bachelors strike some passionate poses in a photoshoot for romantic fiction specialists, Mills and Boon.
Paddy is relieved he’s one of them. “It’s going to be Paddy-tastic,” he boasts.
Soon we’re back with Charlie and Ali and the pair are freaking out as they are challenged to bungee jump off a giant building.
Ali starts to panic and Charlie goes into ‘protection mode’ for her and races to her rescue.
“How incredible is this guy? I’m terrified and he’s doing everything to reassure me.” Ali gasps.
The pair turn back and Ali commends his kindness. “You made me trust you in me in minutes,” Ali says.
“Keep trusting me,” says Charlie and goes in for the kill with some serious tonsil hockey.
The pair enjoy lots of passionate kissing before they head to wine and cheese back at Sofitel Hotel and Ali makes a joke.
“The perfect place to enjoy a handsome drink and a stiff man!” she chuckles.
The pair talk about love, kids and marriage. Ali has twinkles in her eyes. “You’re everything I’m looking for,” she says before handing him a rose. They kiss some more.
“What if they’re all like this? I’m going to want to pick them all. I’m going to be in trouble!” Ali laughs.
Back at the house, Charlie shows off his rose and Bill looks upset he didn’t steal the date.
Charlie can’t stop talking about how much he’s fallen in love with Ali already and Paddy isn’t impressed.
"Nutter,” he laments.
Now it’s time for the group date. Osher announces to the boys they’re doing a Mills & Boon photoshoot and Dan is excited but thinks they are called Mills & Boom.
“How good is it to be on a Mills & Boom cover. How prestigious!” he gasps.
Ali meanwhile is frothing at the mouth with all the topless men. “Look at the pecs and muscles!” she coos.
Ali feels the need to oil up their muscles and she cops a little fondle. “I feel vava voom,” she purrs.
One of the pictures features Rob and Paddy. Rob has to play the gangster and Paddy has to play the bellboy.
Ali gets lost in Rob’s green eyes and the other boy’s notice their intense chemistry.
“Rob is the dark horse,” a couple of men comment.
But Ali appears to feel chemistry with quite a few men. She finds herself gooey eyed with Todd and also Taite.
In fact, the chemistry is so strong with Taite, their photoshoot turns into a steamy session, which leaves the other boys reeling.
But at the cocktail party it’s Rob who she pulls aside for a passionate kiss.
“He’s such a good kisser,” Ali gushes. “Rob is drop dead gorgeous,” she adds.
But soon Ali is making her rounds and Charlie is getting tetchy and jealous and interrupts one of her one on one chats and Paddy starts to stir trouble again.
Thankfully the rose ceremony arrives to stop the commotion and some long-haired lothario called Shane goes home. Bye long haired lothario…It should have been Paddy!
