New Idea revealed that a group of unlucky-in-love former contenders will travel to a romantic paradise hoping to turn a potential summer fling into a real thing.
Over the course of the series - which has been running for four seasons in the US - crews will follow cast members including Nikki Gogan, Keira Maguire and Sasha Mielczarek as they explore new relationships.
Perth local Nikki, who was the runner-up on Richie Strahan's season last year, was snapped filming a top-secret promotion said to be for Bachelor in Paradise in Sydney last week.
It is believed Alex Nation was approached but talks fell over due to her new relationship with Meagan Luxa.
The news comes just months after New Idea broke the news Keira and Sam Johnston were set to appear on the US version of the show. The villainous pair were ultimately cut from the cast after filming was shut down due to an alleged sexual misconduct scandal.
With Fiji tipped as the top location for filming, the source confirms Osher Gunsberg will host the new format.
