“David shot the dog,” an insider told Us Weekly. “The dog snapped at Ensley and that prompted David’s decision to shoot it.”
Logic.
Jenelle fled the house and called the police.
Jenelle returned home to “pack a bag,” and Us Weekly says she “doesn’t feel safe with David” and “is scared and terrified” of him.
No kidding.
TMZ has reported that David did not let the police see the dog, but claimed he was still alive. The Columbus County Sherrif's department says they've contacted Animal Control, but for the police to investigate further Jenelle would need to make a report.
Jenelle has since posted an article photo on her Instagram claiming she is considering a divorce.
She also posted a photo of her and Nugget, writing, "Nugget... I’m crying everyday. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless. You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed... you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back. #Heartbroken #Distraught 😓😪💔"
PETA has said they hope charges are filed against David, and if the news is true they say "People who abuse animals typically don't stop there."
Outrageous.
