19-year-old Mika Riddick had the realisation that prom season was upon the masses of teenage girls in America RN, and decided that her bangin' dress from 2016 needed to be worn again.
But not by her.
"HI i’m willing to let a girl in *need* use my prom dress. USE FOR THE NIGHT. I need you to be in MD, specifically glen burnie or close to. I have shoes for you as well as a makeup artist if you need that as well. IM NOT CHARGING YOU ANYTHING, JUST HAVE A GREAT NIGHT!!!!!" She wrote on Twitter, alongside photos of the gorgeous dress.
The tweet has received close to 38,000 likes, and over 13,000 retweets.
"I didn't expect [the tweet] to get this much attention at all," she told Yahoo. "It's something I'd do on a normal day for anyone. I'm really happy this all happened though."
After she did it, others started following suit and offering up their own dresses too.
"As much as others are touched, they have inspired me just as much," she said. "I want [selfless] things like this to not be so abnormal."
