Two musicians have claimed that Taylor Swift (well, the old Taylor Swift) has ripped off their work, and are now suing her.
According to TMZ, Sean Hall and Nathan Butler wrote a song called "Playas Gon' Play" in 2001, which hit No. 81 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, recorded by girl group 3LW (Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams).
They claim that Taylor's song "Shake It Off" ripped off their lyrics, "Playas, they gonna play and haters, they gonna hate."
According to the report, they say that 20% of Taylor's song is theres, and they "want a ton of money."
"This is a ridiculous claim and nothing more than a money grab," says a rep for Taylor. "The law is simple and clear. They do not have a case."
