Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj's fandoms have come together and united... but it's not for a nice reason at all.
Their mission? To not allow rapper Cardi B to get to number one on the charts.
Currently, Cardi’s song “Bodak Yellow” is doing extremely well in the charts, and it's not sitting well with Taylor’s fanbase who want that “Look What You Made Me Do” to stay in the #1 spot.
According to Billboard, "Bodak Yellow" has also become the highest-charting song by a solo female rapper since Nicki Minaj's 2014 hit "Anaconda."
So, fans seem to think they have a mutual mission and have teamed up. Just to be clear, there is no issue between Taylor, Cardi or Nicki.
According to Refinery29, Taylor’s fans have teamed with Nicki’s to ensure that “Look What You Made Me Do” stays at #1.
Taylor and Nicki’s fans are streaming “Look What You Made Me Do” over and over again to keep "Bodack Yellow" from getting the top spot. They even started a Twitter hashtag #LWYMMDStreamingParty.
Obviously, Cardi fans are also becoming involved, streaming her banger to help her get the number one spot (that she probably deserves).
Yeeezus, so much unnecessary dramz.
