Tinder is an interesting place, full of mystery, shame and sometimes, love.
But can you trust it? Well, it's usually pretty fool-proof, with users profiles linked to their Facebook and Instagram pages.
But, sometimes you might get a wildcard like, say... FRED FREAKING WEASLEY.
Okay, so technically we mean the actor who played Fred in Harry Potter, James Phelps, but chances are if you happen to swipe across him, or any other celebrity, you're being cat fished.
A Potterhead noticed that a user named "Trent" had taken James' photo and used it as their own, with the pick up line, "Show me your pets." Lol.
"When a guy tried to catfish you on Tinder but @James_Phelps was your childhood crush #catfish," they posted on Twitter.
The best part? James himself replied!
"Oh dear... For the record folks I am 100% NOT on tinder....Nor is my name Trent."
Hmmmm I dont know... this has "Fred & George Weasley prank" written ALL over it.
Also... side note... Anybody else getting sort of KJ Apa vibes from that pic? 'Coz, same. BYE.
