Until Snapchat entered the room.
The social media app have officially been crowned the King of pranking because their April fools joke absolutely #slayed. For a while now, Instagram have been not-so-subtly taking notes on Snapchat and their most successful feature - Stories. As you probably realised, you can now make Stories on Instagram (and Facebook - who own Instagram and Messenger).
*Flash-foward to next year when you can make Stories on your Weather App*.
Anyway, Snapchat's revenge? Making an Instagram filter on their app for the day.
The filter framed your picture with the typical Instagram layout, and even better, had "my_mom and 2 others" 'like' the pic, pointing out that Snapchat is only used by young, cool kids. Lol.
#SorryNotSorry Instagram. But now, the ball's in your court for the ultimate clap back.
