Simone Ormesher left Bachelor In Paradise in the dead of night with Apollo Jackson after a fight about fellow contestant Elora Murger. Now, she's explained her current relationship with Apollo, and how she feels betrayed by Elora.
Why did she and Apollo leave in the middle of the night?
"We'd just had enough. Since we were together there was so much drama around us. We went there to find someone and we just wanted to chat on the outside. There was no point in us staying there with the cameras. We found each other so we thought we'd just give it a go on the outside."
Are they still together?
"We're not together now. I went to the Gold Coast [where Apollo lives] and I stayed there for a month just to try and give it a go. We live in separate states and it's just very hard and neither of us are willing to move now. He's so busy with his career that it's just not the right time I don't think.
"I think he needs someone that's going to be able to travel with him and I can't do that. But we've never really ended, we still speak everyday on the phone still. We're very good friends."
Was she in love with him?
"No it hadn't progressed to that. I could've seen it going somewhere like that, we just didn't have enough time. We weren't in there all that long together and in there everything is so heightened and you don't know what's real. I'm not ruling anything out in the future, but it's just not there yet."
She felt betrayed by Elora, especially when she grabbed Apollo for the fire twirling performance.
"I was really, really upset and angry at the fact that me and Elora had made up again and we had been hanging out all day together and she had never mentioned it to me that she had set something up. So she waited until the part when me and him were together, I'm all dressed up and everyone's in the couples and she calls him away from me and I was in shock. I was really upset. The fact that it was mainly girl code that she didn't have a chat with me."
Are they still friends?
Nup, nup. No. I have no interest at all.
