If there’s one thing the internet cannot freaking handle, it’s a spelling or grammatical error.
If you’ve ever made one on Faecbook or Instagram, people have probably VERY willingly let you know about it. Lucky for us, you can edit social posts and the doozy is usually forgotten.
Buuuuttt, for a fashion label, making a grammatical error printed on a bazillion shirts is ÜBER embarrassing, and that’s exactly what Topshop have done.
The above pink shirt has the iconic break up line, “it’s not you it’s me,” printed along the neckline, but unlike
Having the apostrophe in “it’s” is correct as it makes it the possessive form of it (it is). But you already knew that.
“Excited to teach the importance of apostrophes while wearing this shirt!”
“Topshop’s latest graphic t-shirt has ironic and glaring typo.”
“Bad grammar AND a badly photoshopped arm! Face. Palm.”
Le sigh.
Still a cute shirt though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
