Before we’ve even had a chance to process that embarrassing grammatical error on one of their t-shirts, Topshop has been called out once again.

This time, people are PEEVED at one of their window displays, which features some very skinny mannequins.
U.K. mum Zoë Mason posted about it on Facebook after her daughter took a photo of the frail-looking “models” while out shopping.
“It’s not surprising that so many of my friends think they are fat or just don’t like their bodies,” Zoë’s daughter fumed. “Are girls not meant to be happy whatever size they are? Are we not meant to even f**king EAT?! I am never shopping there. It’s places like that making my friends think their bodies aren’t beautiful and that they shouldn’t eat food they love and it makes me want to scream.”
The post has since gone viral and people are NOT happy. Some say Topshop is basically “promoting anorexia,” while others point out that there’s nothing wrong with being skinny but these mannequins “don’t even look human.”
“They look like victims of famine! It’s not a good look for girls!”
“Those mannequins look anorexic, how is promoting eating disorders a good thing?”
“They are brain-washing our young women. Simple as”
“Being skinny is fine if that’s your natural size/shape, these mannequins don’t even look human.”
“Utterly ridiculous, if I could pass a law… I would”
And sadly, this isn’t the first time Topshop’s emaciated mannequins have caused controversy. Back in 2015, they were slammed in an eerily similar post on social media that also went viral. The brand said in a statement that they would not be “placing any further orders on this style of mannequin.” Yet, here we are.
