Imani, our 2016 Girlfriend Priceline Pharmacy Model Search winner gives us a sneak peek into her beauty bag and spills the goss on everything from how she keeps her gorgeous skin glowing to her trick for nailing those perfect brows…
Cleansing is SO important. What’s your routine? And your go-to prods?
First I take off my eye makeup. I love the Beauty Essentials clean gentle eye makeup remover because it works really quickly.
Before I have a bath I like to put on a Bioré Charcoal Self Heating 1 Minute Mask because it feels nice when it’s on and then my skin feels amazing when I take it off. I also love the Bioré Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser for a really deep clean. The Bioré masks are my favourite because they make my face feel soft.
Go-to moisturiser?
I use an Olay moisturiser. It’s light but hydrating and has an SPF.
Daytime face essentials?
For day I like to keep it light, so I like Models Prefer Mineral Powder with the MP BB Brush because it’s really subtle. For highlighting, the Models Prefer Blush MP highlighter and contour brush is just so good – I use it every day.
Your brows are always amazing. What’s the secret?
Aw… thanks. But I’m not telling! Jks…it’s the Models Prefer Brow fixer clear gel mascara. It’s great for getting a well-shaped brow and it’s been great to keep mine looking tidy.
What about hair colour?
I have a few highlights at the moment but that’s it. I’m loving the Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour range with the bright colours and metallic shades – they’re cool if you want to change it up.
Hair removal – wax or shave?
Shave! I’m not a fan of pain, so I use Gillette Venus Swirl razor on my legs and underarms while I’m in the shower. It has a tilting head for getting into awkward spots, so my skin is super smooth afterwards.
Favourite night or party makeup look?
The MP Rose Nude Eye Shadow palette has such nice nude colours, and I always have my MP Style It mascara on before I go and I have one in my bag, too. It gives me great volume in my lashes, and it’s easy to apply. At night I like a bit of contouring so the MP Contour Collection and bronzer brush go well, especially if you blend it properly. Stripes of contouring are not a good look.
Liquid eyeliner? Yes or no?
Ummm, yes and no. I love it when someone else does it for me, but I just can’t do it myself!
Your five handbag essentials are…
Pawpaw balm for my lips, my MP mascara, a hairbrush, and perfume.
Who’s your model/influencer inspo?
I admire Cara Delevingne and Ruby Rose, because I like their attitude. They own their look and they’re confident. They both seem so real as people and are so gorgeous. And I love Ruby’s style.
