Grammy award winner, Billie Eilish made her first-ever debut at the Oscars 2020 wearing head-to-toe custom Chanel –but not as you know it!
The 18-year-old singer, who is renowned for her nonconforming style, graced the red carpet in true Billie form (duh!), ditching the pageant dress for a slouchy custom tweed Chanel co-ord set. And to be honest we think it’s her coolest look yet.

Billie’s super cosy boxy jacket and matching baggy trousers were adorned with the unmistakable double-Cs broaches –each encrusted in diamonds, crystals, and pearls. The suit alone probably costs more than a year’s worth of my rent but she paired it back effortlessly with platform sneakers, delicate lace gloves, and a few chain necklaces. Swag.
Adding to that, her hair was styled in a loosely-tied low bun, featuring an eye-catching pin in the shape of the brand’s interlocking Cs that coordinated with the rest of her outfit, seamlessly. If there’s one thing we know about Billie, it’s that she makes fashion work for her, not the other way around.
But what really made Billie’s look a stand out for us was her extremely long, rhinestone-studded black fingertips which contrasted her white ensemble perfectly. Only Billie could make us want to try this mani for ourselves!
Once again Billie proves that she can pull off her unique style regardless of the event –and for that, we have mad respect!
