The trend, if you haven't clocked it on the For You page already, involves cycling through a few different outfits of what TikTok users would wear in various situations. While other people jumping on the trend often post things like what they'd wear if they went back in time or as a TV character, Mitchell literally has a bunch of TV characters she's played over the years to play dress-up with.
She starts it off with a cheeky grin and the question, "Which character should I be today?" After the classic TikTok jump, she goes from a fluffy white bathrobe to a casual-glam look as Peach Salinger, the character she plays in Netflix's You. We've got silky leopard print, big shades and of course a Chanel bag. Peach was a legend, gone too soon, etc.
After that, she bounces into a throwback: her Pretty Little Liars character Emily Fields' outfit. The sporty character is nearly the exact opposite of Peach's aesthetic, wearing a blue tracksuit and repping her swim team. Shay finishes her TikTok with her latest character Stella Cole, from Dollface.
Petition for her to rope in her Pretty Little Liars co-star Ashley Benson for another version of this TikTok. If they could do a TikTok dance-off video, why not this? 🙏
