"I love you all so much and apologize from the bottom of my heart as I wish I could be there on stage tonight. I promise I wlil make it up to you next time I’m in South America. Te Amo."
Shawn clearly felt terrible about having to cancel his show - despite what seems to be a fairly serious illness - as he wrote a follow-up tweet that simply said: "Im so sorry".
Thankfully, it seems that fans were far more understanding than they were angry, as Tweets of support from well-wishers came flooding in after Shawn made his announcement.
"I want you to know that it’s okay, it happens and we still love you the same!' wrote one fan, while another said, "You are human, too. You get sick. You deserve a day off, rest your vocal cords."
We hope you feel better soon, Shawn!
