The internet's favourite young celebrity couple, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye), are taking an exciting step in their relationship.
Fresh off the release of her new song "Bad Liar", US publications are reporting that the famous singers have collaborated on new music together.
According to the Wikipedia page for songwriter Max Martin's production discography, 'The Weeknd' is listed in the credits for Gomez's upcoming track "In Her Element".
Better still, he's not just listed as a writer, but as a singer on the track.
We all know that online encyclopedia can be a *touch* hit and miss, so for now we'll have to take the news with a grain of salt, but we can't wait to hear the song.
Gomez's first single for 2017 was "Bad Liar", which dropped last week, and fans have already come up with a variety of theories as to why this song is about her boyfriend.
One of the more prominent connections is based on Gomez's choice in underwear, a pair of briefs with the word 'Kiss' sprawled on the back.
Fans quickly linked this to his record label, which is called 'XO', which is the symbol for 'Kiss.'
Yes, that one was a bit far fetched.
The couple have already made their Instagram, Snapchat and Met Gala debut this year so, who knows, maybe a musical debut is really in the cards. Stay tuned for more info!
