The "Lose You To Love Me" singer commented on a fan page reporting on the interaction.
"She's all about supporting women," the post began. "You all just can't take it nicely. Btw Ms Hadid deleted the post."
"That sucks 😢," Selena wrote.
But it doesn't end there! Now that Selena's fans are coming for Bella Hadid, she is asking them to stop attacking her...
Commenting on an article posted on @commentsbycelebs, Selena wrote: "NO. I shouldn't of spoken without knowing the truth. I'm sorry. Please don't be hurtful. She is a wonderful person and it was all a misunderstanding."
This may be referring to the fact that Bella deleted the entire post, not just Selena's individual comment.
It's a similar incident that happened after Selena released her new single "Lose You To Love Me" that slammed her relationship with Justin Bieber. The singer released it very shortly after his wedding to Hailey Bieber.
While Hailey didn't directly threaten Selena afterward, she was attacked by Selena's fans almost imminently, which led to Selena asking her fans to be kind and leave her alone.
Selena is definitely on her own journey of reconciliation and wants to make it known that she supports other women, however, her amends might need to be made privately without her exes current, or past partners being publically slated by her fans first.
As you may know, Selena's beef with Bella started when she started dating Bella Hadid's ex The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) in January 2017, two short months after the rapper broke up with Bella.
The pair broke it off in October that same year, with The Weeknd going back to Bella and Selena back to her ex, Justin Bieber.
Selena doesn't have the best rep with Bella's crew, seeing as Bella is close with Hailey Bieber - Justin Bieber's wife. Not to mention Selena's alliance with Taylor Swift, number one enemy of the Kardashian's.
Bella Hadid and The Weeknd don't have the steadiest relationship, dating on-and-off-again the years following his and Selena's split, but maybe Bella's hostility has come from the fact that Selena recently reached out to The Weeknd, saying she misses him on Instagram.
At Kendall Jenner's 24th Halloween inspired birthday party recently, The Weeknd posed with model Emily Ratajkowiski in a photo booth, and Selena commented: "I MISS YOU GUYS!!!"
Yikes.
Selena actually re-followed Bella Hadid on Instagram not too long ago (with no follow back FYI). While many fans are applauding Selena's attempts in growing and showing her support for Bella, it doesn't exactly mean the model is obligated to being friends with her.
Bella has yet to make any comments on the situation.
