Last month, Selena Gomez revealed that her best friend Francia Raisa saved her life by giving her a kidney transplant.
Now, she has sat down with her to chat to NBC News, and open up about just how serious the surgery was.
"My kidney's were just done. That was it," Selena told TODAY host, tearing up. "And I didn't want to ask a single person in my life [for help].
"That was the day I came home and found out," she continued. "And [Francia] volunteered and did it."
When the host asked why Selena feels like Francia saved her life, she replied simply with, "Because she did. That's it.
"I guess I got to the point where it was really kind of life or death."
