In 2016, Charlie Puth and Selena Gomez were rumoured to be dating. They produced the song "We Don't Talk Anymore," which, became a reality for the both of them when Charlie admitted that they were no longer on speaking terms to his fans.
He also revealed that they were 'just friends', however his new song/music video for "How Long" suggests otherwise.
Fans have noticed that there is a painting in the clip that is a bang on lookalike of Selena, and they want answers.
It's not unlike Charlie to use lookalikes for his music videos. Remember when he used this Bella Thorne doppelgänger in his music video for "Attention" right after they had a messy, public break up?
Something obviously went down between Charlie and Selena, and Charlie even revealed that his new album touches on how he cheated on someone.
"For a while there, I was getting too crazy. I touch on that on the album coming out this year. I was dating all of these different women."
In January, he tweeted that he "really really messed it up with this one girl" who was "a good singer."
Maybz it was Selena. Maybz we'll never know.
MAYBZ the painting is meant to be his new girlfriend, Danielle Campbell?!
