In an interview with Billboard, Sel's former flame Zedd opens up about the reality of dating a mega famous pop diva.
"Reporters were calling my parents. People were hacking my friends' phones. I was pissed. [Though] I kind of knew what I was getting myself into," he said.
The pair started dating back in 2015 while they were working together on the dance banger "I Want You To Know".
But the 27-year-old admitted that while he enjoyed his time with the gorg girl, he wasn't prepared for how dating a world famous star would affect his life.
"She is one of the most talked about people in the world, but I had no idea how much that would change my life," he added.
Flash-forward two years, Sel is now dating fellow singer The Weeknd and the pair seem to be handling the pressures of fame just fine.
